Decent Prices, But Shipping Concerns
Compared to Wine.com, City Wine Merchant often has some really competitive pre-arrival pricing, especially on things like Sauternes. I was eyeing a particular Austrian Gruner Veltliner too, but I'm still a bit concerned about their shipping temperature control policy. It's not as clear as I'd like, which makes me hesitant for delicate wines. They offer good deals, but I just wish that aspect was more transparent.
Good spot for unique wines
Was looking for a good Zinfandel and stumbled upon City Wine Merchant. They had a great selection, and the pricing was pretty competitive, especially when comparing to Wine.com or even K&L Wine Merchants. Shipping was solid, arrived on time. I did notice they dont offer professional wine storage, which would be a nice add-on for serious collectors, but otherwise, a solid experience.

grabbed a couple bottles of that Gevrey-Chambertin from Dujac they had listed, amazing price point compared to K&L and others. ordering was super simple, took like 5 minutes top. i was a little worried about shipping to my state but they delivered pretty quick, maybe 4 days from order to my doorstep, all packaged perfectly. really appreciate that they focus on those pre-arrival deals, saves a ton over time. always checking their new offers now.
